As part of the training for the upcoming K2 trek, I went with Mark and Ursula on the Gleann Chóchan (horseshoe) circuit in Connemara. It's a 14km very tough walk, with 6 or seven hard climbs. A hard, but wonderful day, in the brilliant sunshine that I believe is typical of these parts.
The horseshoe from the road at the end of the walk - the Panorama flattens it out - but it really is a 180 deg loop |
